Internal Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8, 2023, with the theme “Women’s Day for Women.” The event has been organized by the institution’s medical students with the aim of recognizing the contributions of women internationally. During the IWD event, students who are part of the Ethiopian Medical Student’s Association have led awareness-creating activities, a faculty and staff tournament, a fundraiser to help women in need, and a photo exhibition of internationally significant women, including women faculty and staff of the Institute.
