Check Your Eligibility
Review the Ministry of Education entrance score requirements for your desired program. Ensure your ESSLCE results and supporting documents are available.
Apply Online via the ECUSTA Portal
All applications are submitted exclusively online through the official ECUSTA Applications Portal. Physical or walk-in applications are not accepted.
Entrance Interview & Assessment
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an aptitude interview. Prepare to demonstrate academic readiness and motivation for your chosen field.
Acceptance & Enrollment
Admitted students receive an official acceptance letter. Proceed to the Registrar's and Finance Offices to complete registration and tuition arrangements.
Degree Programmes
ECUSTA offers accredited undergraduate programmes across health and social sciences.
Doctor of Medicine (MD)
A rigorous, evidence-based curriculum aligned with WHO and Ethiopian MoH standards. Students receive early clinical exposure through partner hospitals from Year 2.
Medical Laboratory Science (MLS / MLT) (B.Sc.)
Hands-on training in our newly operational, hospital-grade Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Complex. Covers automated clinical chemistry, cellular haematology, molecular PCR testing, histopathology, and laboratory quality management.
Social Work (B.A.)
Develop skills in community development, social justice advocacy, and human services, grounded in Lasallian values of service to the marginalized.
Required Documents
- ESSLCE / Entrance Exam Score Card (original or certified copy)
- Complete High School Transcript — Grades 9 through 12
- Two recent passport-sized photographs (3×4 cm)
- Copy of National ID Card or Valid Passport
- For Education Upgrade Applicants: Official COC Assessment Certificate, Level 4 Diploma, and Work Experience Letter.
- For International Applicants: Foreign credentials must be authenticated by Ethiopia's Education and Training Authority (ETA).
- Completed online application form via the ECUSTA Portal
Education Upgrade Applicants (Current Level 4 Diploma Holders):Please ensure your COC Certificate, Level 4 Diploma, and official Work Experience letter are combined and uploaded as a single PDF attachment in the application portal.
International Applicants (ETA Document Authentication):All international applicants with foreign credentials must have their academic certificates, high school transcripts, and degrees authenticated and certified for Ethiopian equivalency by the Education and Training Authority (ETA) of Ethiopia.

Eligibility Policy
Admission to all programmes is governed by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education (MoE) cutoff score requirements for each field of study, as well as ECUSTA's own institutional criteria.
Meeting minimum score requirements does not guarantee admission. The final selection is competitive and takes into account academic performance, aptitude interview outcomes, and available capacity.
International students should contact the Admissions Office directly via our contact form for guidance on equivalency and visa procedures.
