The Office of the Academic Vice President (AVP) serves as the chief academic officer of the institute. The AVP is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, quality assurance, and evaluation of all degree and diploma programs.

Pedagogical Philosophy

Competency-Based Medical Education

Our medical curriculum is modular and integrated, ensuring students master specific biomedical competencies before progressing to hospital clinical clerkships.

Active Problem-Based Learning

We emphasize student-centered learning through problem-based case studies (PBL) and early clinical exposure starting from Year 1.

Academic Reporting Units

School of Medicine

Oversees the MD program, clinical hospital clerkships, and preclinical labs under the Dean of Medicine.

Office of the Registrar

Manages academic records, semester registration, transcripts, GPA calculations, and graduation clearance.

Research Directorate

Coordinates faculty research projects, institutional grants, medical publications, and ethical review boards.

Office of Student Services

Oversees student welfare, guidance, dormitory housing, library facilities, and campus life.
